HERBERT LIES AT PEACE IN THE BONNAY COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Herbert entered the Civil service on leaving School and was working in London.
He joined the Civil service Rifles Battalion of the London Regiment in February 1917, and proceeded to france in early 1918 losing his life in the August.
