George was the only son of William Born Burgg Lincolnshire 1854 a textile patent agent and Florance Camburn Born Elham Kent 1855, they married in Elham in 1880.
After Leaving Leeds Boys Modern George attended Leeds University and on September 1914 at Leeds Town Hall enlisted into the 15 Bn West Yorkshire Regiment Leeds Pals.
After training in Colsterdale, Ripon and Salisbury, George was posted with the Battalion to Egypt and then France, where George gave his life.

"Son of William and Florence Fairburn-Hart (nee Camburn), of 6, Airedale Cliff, Pollard Lane, Newlay, Bramley, Leeds. Textile Designer."
